Click here to download a Rudge Originals order form (pdf). Photos and finish: To work from photographs, I need sharp, clear images. Include a close-up if possible. If needed, it can be arranged for me to photograph your pet – please contact me directly. Choose photographs which best reflect the unique character of your pet (choose several if necessary), and which show any special colourings or markings. Remember, with enough reference material, details or anomalies in the photos can be changed, so don’t worry if the pictures aren’t perfect. Decide on the ‘look’ of the painting and the composition. Do you want a detailed or plain background? What size and shape? Do you want it painted on 2cm or box canvas? E-mail or post your photographs along with the details of the painting. A 25% deposit is required to secure a commission. All pet portrait paintings are in acrylic, and can be painted on standard or chunky canvas. If in doubt, or any enquiries, please contact me. Prices:
Prices are in GBP and are subject to change. Prices do not include framing or postage. Allow up to four weeks for completion - shorter deadlines can be met if necessary. A 25% deposit is required to secure a portrait (non-returnable once a painting has begun). A preview of the completed portrait will be sent via e-mail or post for approval before full payment is requested. Gift vouchers are available. I also paint ‘people portraits’ - prices start at £295 for a 10 x 12 inch oil painting. Please ask for more information. |
