Do
you need to see a photo before giving a quote?
Not for simple works – if you know the size and medium, please see the prices page.
For unusual sizes, or particularly detailed backgrounds, please contact the
artist.
I’m not happy with the background in
my photo – can it be changed?
Of course – you can have a plain background or supply alternative photos
with a background you like.
I have no suitable photographs. Can the artist
take some?
Please contact the
artist. Travel expenses can be added to the total order cost.
My photographs are not very good, but I’m too far away for the artist to
take some...
In this case, choose a variety of photos, and give as much information about
your pet as possible – breed, colouration, character etc.
How long will the commission take?
This will vary depending on size / complexity of the commission, (and of course
the time of year) but a general estimation of 4 weeks is given. Please contact the
artist with special requirements to see if arrangements can be made.
Is a deposit required?
A 25% advance payment is required in order to secure a commission. This is non-returnable
once the commission has begun.
Will you confirm my order and will I be able
to see the finished piece before final payment?
Yes, when I receive your photographs and deposit, I will confirm your order by
either e-mail or telephone. Before final payment is requested, an e-mail attachment
or printout will be sent to you. This will give you a chance to request any minor
changes to the picture.
How do I pay?
Please make cheques payable to Caroline Rudge. If you have Gift
Vouchers, these can be used in part or full payment.
